FAQs

All Your Questions, Answered

When is the RSVP deadline?

Formal invitations will be coming your way in early 2026. We're planning to send them about three months before the wedding to give our out-of-town guests plenty of time to make travel arrangements to Lawrence.

What should I wear?

We suggest cocktail attire for our celebration. For women, this could be a cocktail dress, an elegant jumpsuit, or dressy separates. For men, a suit or sport coat with dress pants is perfect—ties are optional but always welcome! The ceremony will take place in a historic chapel, followed by a reception at the Cider Gallery, so we’re aiming for an atmosphere that’s refined yet comfortable.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Most of our celebration will be indoors, with the ceremony in the beautiful Danforth Chapel and the reception inside the Cider Gallery. Weather permitting, we’ll host the cocktail hour outdoors in the charming space just outside the gallery.

A few helpful notes:

Where should I stay?

We’re currently arranging hotel blocks for our out-of-town guests and will update this section with all the details as soon as they’re finalized. Lawrence offers several wonderful accommodation options near our venues, including The Eldridge Hotel and The Oread. We recommend booking your accommodations early, as Lawrence is a vibrant college town with many events throughout the year. Please check back here soon for our specific hotel recommendations and group rates.

Are children invited?

We’re planning an adult-focused celebration and kindly request that children not attend the ceremony or reception. Our intimate chapel ceremony and evening reception are designed with an adult atmosphere in mind. That said, we understand that arranging childcare can be challenging, especially for our out-of-town guests. If having your children with you would be the difference between attending or missing our celebration, please reach out to us directly so we can discuss options. We truly value your presence and want to help find a solution that works for your family.

Do you have a gift registry?

We’re still finalizing our registry details and will share this information closer to the wedding date. Your presence at our celebration is what we’re most looking forward to! Registry information will be included with the formal invitation in early 2026.
